The Decorating and Staging Academy

JoAnne began her residential design and staging business in the 70’s which led to the founding of The Decorating and Staging Academy. (originally One Day Decorating)  She was offering clients One Day Decorating, Redesign, and Staging before the terms were even coined.   JoAnne has always operated under the premise a practical approach blended with creativity is critical in creating beautiful rooms and successful businesses. She  offers training in PA, NC, MD, NJ, OH, NY, UT, TX as well as online.Appearances on HGTV, ABC-WJET-TV, Good Morning Atlanta, and many other regional TV stations, helped foster her speaking expertise.  She writes for national and industry magazines, is a frequent industry speaker and author of “The Decorator’s Reference and Resource Guide.” JoAnne is the creator of many of The-DSA systems and tools including the Confident Consultation System, Comfort Zone Budget System, Confident Color System, Decorating in the Zone, and along with Carol Bass, the co-creator of the ACTION Scoring System used by staging professionals around the country. JoAnne recently launched DIY-Decorate Interiors Yourself and The Decorating Coach System for the amateur decorator.
